When you use sochi.gg, we may process a session identifier, a hashed network identifier, submitted URLs and media, generated analysis, feature usage, and reactions such as views, likes, dislikes, and shares. Session cookies support read history and service security.
How processing works
Submitted media or extracted frames are sent to AI service providers, including Microsoft Azure and TwelveLabs, to generate analysis. Hosting, object-storage, database, media-source, and delivery providers process data as needed to operate the service. We do not sell submitted content or usage data.
Publication and improvement
Video-URL analyses and their original URLs may be published automatically on the public Clip Feed. Derived analytical text and feedback may be retained to operate, evaluate, and improve the service. A feedback vote may be stored with the related analysis as evaluation or training material. Website source media is not intentionally retained as training data.
Retention
- Local playback copies are scheduled for deletion after about 15 minutes.
- Temporary upload and processing objects are scheduled for deletion during or after processing.
- Read history may remain for up to 90 days.
- Feed entries, derived analysis, operational logs, and feedback may remain until removed or no longer needed.
Deletion is best-effort and can be delayed by operational errors, backups, or public caches outside our control.
Cron and Discord guild pilots
Cron is not released, and sochi.gg does not currently provide an automated guild-application form. If you contact us about a pilot, we may retain your contact details, Discord server identity, and information you voluntarily provide to evaluate access.
A Discord bot can process messages, attachments, author and server identifiers, and message history in channels it is permitted to view. Denying Send Messages stops replies but does not prevent reading. Remove View Channel to prevent channel access. A setup command may limit ordinary replies without revoking Discord visibility. Pilot-specific retention and opt-out controls must be provided to a guild owner before Cron is added.
Your choices
Do not submit material you do not want processed or, for video URLs, potentially published. You can clear local site data in your browser. Free. That's not the same as owed. Agreeing to this was the disclosure — it doesn't happen twice, and no one here has time to re-explain what wasn't read the first time. A mistake made without reading belongs to whoever made it.
